The box

A plain cardboard box, simple and well made, with a tear-off opening. Nothing is printed on the outside: your logo is on the model inside.

The kit

Genuine LEGO® bricks, bagged, with every part the model needs. It arrives as a kit, not as an assembled model, and the building instructions come as a PDF to download or print. Building it is part of the gift.

The print

Your artwork is printed straight onto the bricks, by pad printing or UV printing. We choose the method that suits your artwork, its colors and the surface it goes on.

The kit

Are these real LEGO® bricks?

Yes. Every piece in every kit is a new, genuine LEGO® element. Nothing is used, reclaimed or repackaged, and no clone-brand part is ever swapped in, whatever the piece or the color.

WLWYB is an independent studio. We are not sponsored, authorized or endorsed by the LEGO Group.

Where do the bricks come from?

We part out thousands of new LEGO® sets every year. There is also an official marketplace, BrickLink.com, owned by the LEGO Group, where you can buy parts from other sellers.

We have traded there for 14 years.

Is printing on LEGO® bricks allowed?

Yes. Each model is our own design, built from genuine LEGO® bricks, and we print your artwork on the brick and plate faces the model is built to carry. We never print on a minifigure: the minifigure is the LEGO Group's own design.

One rule applies to both of us: nobody may give the impression that this is an official LEGO® product. It is not.

Does it arrive built?

No, and that is the point. It arrives as a kit of genuine LEGO® bricks, with step-by-step building instructions as a PDF. No experience is needed: anyone at the desk can build it, and building it is the part people remember.

How is it packed?

Every kit is boxed on its own, in a plain cardboard box with no printing on it. Inside, the bricks come bagged.

Is it suitable for children?

It is not a toy for children. These are building kits with small parts, made for adults, and the building instructions carry a choking-hazard warning.

If the kits are going home to families, write to us first and we will say plainly what is suitable.

Ordering

How much of my time does this take?

About five minutes. Pick a model, upload your artwork, see it on the model, and pay. No calls, no briefs, no quotes.

If your file needs a change before we can print it, we write to you within one business day.

What is included in the price?

Every price is per kit. It covers the bricks, the building instructions as a PDF, and a plain cardboard box for each kit. Printing is extra: every print area you put your artwork on is priced on top of the price of the kit.

The minimum is 20 kits per design, and the price per kit depends on the quantity. VAT and shipping are added at checkout.

Will my logo look right on it?

You see it before you pay. The preview shows your artwork on the model, and what the preview shows is what we print: on the brick itself, not on a sticker. Screen color is close to print color, not identical.

A person checks every file before production. If something needs changing we write to you within one business day, and if the artwork cannot be made printable, you are refunded in full.

We accept SVG, PDF, AI, PNG and JPG files up to 20 MB.

Delivery

How long does it take?

We ship within 6 weeks of payment. If your artwork needs correcting, the 6 weeks run from the day we accept the corrected file. FedEx's transit time comes on top. Delivery times are FedEx's published estimates for the service and the destination, and they are not guaranteed.

How is it shipped?

From Budapest, Hungary, with FedEx, tracked from our door to yours. Shipping is a fixed price by destination country and weight, in euros, and there are two services, FedEx Economy and FedEx Priority. The price for your country and quantity is shown on the model page, and checkout shows it again before you pay.

Do I pay VAT?

If your order ships outside the EU, no. It is invoiced VAT free, and you can stop reading here.

Inside the EU, a business with a valid EU VAT number is invoiced without VAT when the order ships to an EU country other than Hungary. Enter the number at checkout: Shopify, which runs our checkout, checks it against the EU's VIES register on the spot. If the number cannot be confirmed, VAT is charged.

Everyone else in the EU pays VAT at the rate of the country the order ships to, on the goods and on the shipping. Hungarian buyers pay Hungarian VAT, with or without a VAT number.

What about customs duties?

Inside the EU there are none.

Outside the EU, duties and import taxes are calculated at checkout and paid in advance with your order, so nothing is collected on delivery.

What if a shipment is delayed or damaged?

Every shipment travels with FedEx and is tracked, so you can see where it is at any time. Once a parcel is with FedEx, transit times and transit damage are covered by FedEx's terms.

If a parcel arrives late or damaged, write to wlwyb@wlwyb.com with the tracking number and photos. We answer within one business day, and we will do everything we can to put it right.

If something is wrong

What if a part is missing?

It is unlikely, and easy to fix. Tell us which part and we send it, free of charge.

Because every order is made for you and printed with your artwork, there is no 14-day right of withdrawal. That does not touch your rights if what arrives is faulty or is not what you ordered.

How do you check quality?

Every kit is counted, packed and checked by hand, and passes three quality gates before it leaves the studio.

What if I want a design made only for my company?

Then you want the studio. Open Editions are ready-made models that carry your artwork. A model designed from scratch (your own product, your building, your moment) is a commission: designed with you, prototyped, and built to order.
